Platform 1 Heritage Railway – Closing Down October 2017

Platform 1 Heritage Railway is located in Littlehampton. About 30 minutes up the SE Freeway from Adelaide. Turn left at the Hotel in Litttlehampton 1.5km on the right hand side.

This is a real hands on experience for families. You can touch and play with the railway displays, pat and feed the friendly farm animals, play old fashioned games like horse-shoe throwing, throwing the balls in the milk cans and a giant board game of ‘Trains &Tunnels’ and of course take a ride on the train through the historic farmyard and out into the open paddock of this Adelaide Hills property. Travel through farm buildings, past sheep and cattle and the old gum trees.

Train departs hourly from 11am to 4pm.
Open 6 days from 10am. (closed Wednesdays), Open 7 days during SA school holidays. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day morning and for the month of August for annual maintenance.

Adults: $9
Senior Concession: $8
Children: $6 (2 to 14 years)
Family: $28 (2ad +2ch)
Admission price includes the train ride.

I'm a Mum of 2 girls (aged 7 and 1) and also one 4 legged fur baby sausage dog called Frank David. I work from home with my own graphic design business as well as lots of KiA hours spent in my home office. My family balance out the work/school hours with lots of beach time, walks, bike rides skates, scooters and surfs. We like being outside.
