Organix Healthy Snacks- No Junk!

By  |

** On 5/4/17 Organix contacted us to advise of the following  AUSTRALIAN MARKET FOOD RECALL with the details below ***

Our range of Organix Finger Foods baby biscuits are being recalled from the market in Australia due to local regulatory concerns that the biscuits can crumble into pieces which may pose a potential choking hazard. We advise anyone who has purchased them from Coles, Woolworths and some health food stores in Australia to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. For further information please contact our consumer care team on 001144 1202 586133 or email [email protected].  Our office hours are 9am to 5pm GMT Monday to Friday.See for Australian food recall information.

Imagine you are heading into an epic Saturday of events. You have kids swimming lessons, kids dance lessons, lunch with the in-laws, a 3-year-old birthday party, plus all the fun of the grocery shopping to finish the day off nicely. Snacks in between to keep the kids from getting hangry are always important! Organix are a great way to go. They are a nice alternative to sugary foods- check out the No Junk promise on their website- and are easy to pack in your carry bag. PLUS these products aren’t messy or slimy so it’s unlikely you’re going to end up with children looking grimy by the time you get to the afternoon events!

Our kids really love the carrot stix as they are crunchy, munchy and delish. The packets aren’t too big so they are perfect for our 3 year old. Follow these up with a pear and you have a yummy snack!

I literally couldn’t get the Carrot Stix inside before they were devoured!!

If you have younger children then the circular shape of the Organix Finger Foods are a good option. They are easy for them to hold onto and, judging by the way our youngest devours them, they are obviously tasty!

A good handbag option for post-swim sessions is also the Farm Animal Biscuits. These are smallish, so best for children aged 12 months+. The animals keep the kids entertained while you battle putting on your clothes after being in the pool with the kids. You know that horrible moment I like to call “The Battle of the Twisted Knickers”. That moment when you can’t get your knickers on properly because you’re not dry and you’re doing 50 other things at the same time. Well, the Farm Animals are perfect for keeping the kids entertained while you are trying not to fall over!

Visit the Organix website to see the wide range of foods they have available and to learn more about their No Junk promise. They have a significant 6 months+, 7 months+, 9months+ and 12 months+ range to check out, along with all the ingredient information and LOADS more.
