Patch Kitchen & Garden
Why it’s Kid Friendly:  Fantastic children’s menu, toys, books, games and blackboards for drawing. Outdoors, Patch offers a cubby, sandpit, chicken coop and veggie garden, while the shared dining and play area in the back garden is fenced.
Address: 143 Mt Barker Rd, Stirling
Phone: 8339 8087
Website: www.patchkitchen.com.au
KiA Approved? Yes! We love the outdoor area complete with chooks! We’re regulars at Patch. Read our review here

Barristers Block
Why we love it: Barristers Block is officially my favourite winery to go with kids. It has a HUGE sandpit with toys, a mini farm with alpaca, geese, deer and more, a family friendly feel (read: it’s ok for the kids to run around and play!) and yummy share food.
Address: 141 Onkaparinga Valley Road, Woodside, South Australia 5244
Phone: 8389 7706

The Aldgate Pump Hotel
Why we love it: An old fashioned Adelaide Hills pub with yummy meals, amazing desserts, kids eat free on Monday’s and Tuesday’s AND an enclosed outdoor playground!
Address: 1 Strathalbyn Road Aldgate

Hokey Pokey (formerly Oak Tree Truffles)
Why we love it: A good old sweet shop has recently changed names and added drinks, icecream and seating to it’s options so you can now stop in, have a coffee and milkshake and pickup some delish takeaways -many that are made onsite!
Address: Mt Barker Road, Stirling (a couple of shops up the hill from Baker’s Delight – but before Three Birds!)
KiA Approved? Yes! Try their new Ruby Chocolate!
