Indoor Craft

Glued To My Crafts Blog is a new website I stumbled across and it has some really cool craft ideas. Some require more materials than others, but they all look very achievable, creative and fun! The website is American, but you can use the side tabs to navigate easily and locate a season or particular celebration you would like inspiration for (eg. Winter or Easter). Hopefully you will find something to keep the kids busy on the wet, rainy weekends we have already begun to have here in Adelaide.

Handprint Flamingo

This is so adorable! It’s also very easy to make, with only a few items needed. You can use canvas, or just wing it with paper if you don’t have any canvas at home. Obviously with paint involved, there’s always some hesitation BUT it’s minimal paint and if you have your wet wipes prepared this will hopefully prevent any problems! For all the instructions, click HERE.

Thumb Print Heart Magnets

These require more materials and more skill than the flamingos, so it’s probably more of an adult-guided activity. I’m sure that the magnets will make great gifts once they’re done though! Very cute. For all the details click HERE.

Potato Stamped Bears

What kid doesn’t love playing with food? Using potatoes as stamps, check out how nifty these bears are! Another easy one to do, with minimal supplies needed. I also love that it says to discard the potato afterwards. Haha! That would be an interesting tasting potato bake otherwise…! Click HERE for all the details.
