The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in concert with Henry Olonga at Warriparinga

The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra will join with star of television’s The Voice Henry Olonga for a family performance at Marion’s Warriparinga Wetlands on Saturday, 9 November.

Sunset Symphony is expected to attract up to 5000 people and is the first time the orchestra will have performed with Mr Olonga. The renowned tenor and former Zimbabwean international cricketer will sing a selection of his favourite songs during the orchestra’s 90-minute performance.

Concert-goers can relax on the grass in tree-lined surroundings, soak up the atmosphere of a site steeped in Kaurna culture, and enjoy popular classics.

Food trucks will sell cuisine from around the world, or you can bring a picnic.

Tickets are affordable, the area is accessible, and the show is going to be unmissable.

Getting there and parking
There is limited parking close to the venue. Please consider using public transport, sharing a ride, or parking and walking options.

Arts activities
Hands-on, free art and music activities for kids and adults, include:
Feel the rhythm at Drum Beat 15 minute demonstration showing different forms and beats that can be used for therapy
Percussion workshop using made out of recycled materials
Come and look at the ‘wagga’ a blanket stitched together from recycled materials
Bring your story to life on canvas using paints and pens
Drop into the colourful art caravan between 5pm – 7pm.

Art workshops continue until 8pm.
