Celebrate life, summer and the best of French culture over one weekend, magnifique!


Adelaide Festival Centre are thrilled to welcome some of the very best artists from France as they celebrate the return of Adelaide French Festival in 2019.

The program features an eclectic program of music, theatre, dance, food, wine, art, fashion, film and family activities including a number of Australian exclusive performances just for Adelaide.













Adelaide French Festival has something for everyone, from francophiles to those just discovering all that French culture has to offer.

Head along and immerse yourself in this feast of French art and culture, spectacular performances and free activities over one weekend.

Event highlights include:

Lumieres is a series of short films, set to a live soundtrack by French artist Ellie

Reverie Electronique is a show for toddlers! It combines ambient electronic music with

L’Apres-Midi D’un Foehn – Version 1 is a beautiful show, where bright plastic bags are
“brought to life” as they dance on currents of air.

Junior Sous Chef – a sweet cooking class for budding chefs!

Little Picassos: Put brush to canvas and channel your inner artiste, with guidance from Little Picassos.

Crown Making:  Create your own decorative flower crown using beautiful blooms and seasonal foliage

Box Wars: Build, then destroy your own Napoleonic Empire with the cardboard-loving Boxwars crew.

Wife of a FIFO miner, mum of two creatives aged 8 and 3 (who live on fresh air, saltwater and attitude). Bare feet not heels. Hats not hair styles. Beaches not bars. Food over fashion. We have a pet turtle named Roger, and enjoy time on the Yorke Peninsula as often as possible.
