The Kids in Adelaide resident “Elf on the Shelf-er” Kim has shared her favourite Elf of the Shelf ideas with us (ELFSPO)
Elf on the Shelf is a magical Scout Elf helper who helps Santa manage his naughty and nice lists by reporting back to him at the North Pole. Each morning he returns to the house and winds up in all sorts of places and positions. Some of these are hilarious!
Kim says “I love Christmas. Ask anyone!! So when a friend of mine introduced me to Elf On The Shelf she said it would be right up my alley! I googled them and loved the idea, ordered one and eagerly waited his arrival! I was nervous starting him on his adventures and was worried that I wouldn’t be able to come up with many ideas. Luckily there are Facebook pages, groups, apps and lots of Pinterest ideas to help! My kids loved him right away and named him Scout.
I love that he has brought a little more Christmas Magic to our house and I get to go crazy with my creative ideas. My hubby even loves him as he only has to tell the kids that Scout is watching and they are good! Our kids are 7, 5, 3 and are great ages for our Elf On A Shelf. They say goodnight to him, talk to him, can’t wait to see where he will be the next day and have a race in the morning to see what he is doing! I’m a Christmas girl so anything to do with Christmas I love!”
Big thanks to Kim!
