Bali Hai Cruises

By  |

On our recent trip to Bali we were lucky enough to spend the day with Bali Hai Cruises visiting the island of Nusa Lembongan.

We chose the Beach Club Cruise which is a full day tour to the island aboard the Bali Hai II, a luxury catamaran that will scoot you over to the Lembongan Island Beach Club in about an hour. While on board you can choose to sit inside in the air con and enjoy a quick drink and a snack, the kids are given colouring books and there are TVs.

Or you can choose from one of the three outside decks and check out the live band onboard, look out for dolphins and watch the island getting closer.

Once you arrive on the island you can decide on what activities your family would like to try either at the Beach Club or on the Pontoon docked a short boat ride from the Club. There’s something for all ages and even a fully serviced kids club so Mum and Dad can relax or take a while to do one of the extra paid activities like scuba diving or para sailing. My little Miss 5 and her Aunty were feeling extra adventurous this day and decided to para sail! They both loved it!

Some of the other activities include:

Snorkelling both off the beach and from the pontoon – equipment provided.

  • Swimming Pool
  • Beach/pool games
  • Kids Club
  • Waterslide into the ocean! (big hit)

  • Unlimited banana boat rides
  • Lembongan Island Tour
  • Sea Kayaks
  • Semi Submersible Coral Viewer

At lunch time there is a BBQ lunch buffet included in the price which includes a selection of salads, cold meats, bbq fish, chicken, bread etc. If your kids are grazers I’d suggest popping a few snacks in your bag they can much on between activities too.

After lunch there is more time to enjoy more activities, grab an icecream or just relax by the pool or beach.

The highlight of our day was snorkelling with a GIANT Manta Ray! We got so close and my 5 year old was squealing with delight to be able to see it swim under the water. We also did a lot of Nemo spotting!

The Bali Hai Beach Club Cruise is a great day trip next time you visit Bali. You can escape the hustle and bustle for the day and the kids will come back absolutely EXHAUSTED but full of great memories.

The Bali Hai Beach Club Cruise departs at 9.15am – Returns at 4:15pm and includes pick up and drop off to your hotel.
